The 71883 Amplified UV Silicon Photodetector for Optical Power Meters is operated in photovoltaic mode for best DC and low frequency performance. This uncalibrated 10 x 10 mm Silicon detector has a 185 to 1100 nm range. 1.5 Inch Series female flanged housing. This version has a built-in transimpedance amplifier. The amplifier provides transimpedance gains from 104 V/A to 109 V/A. It also offers three selectable time constant settings to allow you to match the upper bandwidth limit with your experimental needs. Operating at the lowest bandwidth setting allows you to operate at the lowest noise levels. The amplified models require +/-15 V DC; the 70703 Power Supply provides the required power.
