Pricing 
BMI Surplus, Inc offers competitive pricing and exceptional customer service to our clients. If we have not priced an item yet, or if you want to make an offer, please call us. 
  
Purchases within Massachusetts are subject to an additional charge of 6.25% sales tax. 
  
Warranty 
BMI Surplus, Inc warrants that you will receive the items as pictured and/or described in the listing. The buyer is responsible to determine the suitability of the product for their application. The Cosmetic Condition of the items refers only to the physical appearance of an item and not its functionality. 
  
Testing 
We strive to test every item but, due to the nature and volume of our business, our technicians only test some of the items we offer for sale. As such, we sell untested items at a reduced price. If you would like an item to be tested please contact us for pricing. Please be aware that once tested, the value increases and the price may be adjusted to reflect the new condition. 
  
Calibration 
We work with several accredited calibration facilities. Please contact us for pricing if you require calibration. 
  
Returns 
All items being sold as "parts only" or "as is" are listed at a reduced price and as such are final sale. Untested items are not eligible for a return. Because we have so many line items, we encourage customers to contact us to discuss reasonable offers on any item listed on our website. Security stickers are used to guarantee that a unit is not tampered with. If the stickers are removed no return will be accepted. Unless an item is sold as new, calibrated, or  tested working all sales are final and not subject to return. Tested working means that an item generally performs the intended functions, but as it is used, the item may not meet all of the specifications of a new item.  If a tested working item does not power on it is subject to return.  Items may be repaired or replaced if they do not meet the standard under which they were sold.  If these options are not available a refund will be issued for eligible items.
 
If you would like to initiate a return e-mail us at sales@bmius.com within 5 business days of receipt of your purchase. Please include the order number in the subject and specify the reason for your return in the e-mail. The buyer is responsible for return shipping and insurance. All returned items must be in the original condition, in secure packaging, and accompanied by the original packing slip with written documentation of why the item is being returned. Items must be shipped back within 7 business days of receipt in order to be eligible for a refund or exchange. All returns will be checked in and assessed. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. We do our best to describe every item, to note and photograph imperfections. Please read the description, look at the images, and ask questions prior to purchasing. 
  
If BMI Surplus, Inc ships you an item other than what you ordered please let us know immediately upon receipt. We will arrange the return of the incorrect item in exchange for the correct item at our expense. 

Shipping 
We offer shipping with FedEx and UPS. If you have a preference and would like an item shipped on your account with a particular carrier, we will try to accommodate your request. We insure every small package shipped on our accounts for the full value of your purchase unless arranged otherwise in advance. 
  
Shipping addresses usually cannot be changed after an item is shipped. 
 
Orders are generally processed immediately upon receipt of payment and shipped same day if the order is placed prior to our daily pick-up 3:00pm EST. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours or on the next business day. We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or Holidays. Clients will be notified if there is any delay. 
  
Items weighing more than 60 lbs and oversized items are shipped via Freight. Charges for pallet and crate construction vary by item and will be quoted when you call. We can arrange and quote freight or the buyer can arrange transport themselves or with a carrier. All Freight charges are pre-paid and billed. 
  
We make every effort to ship orders within 24 hours of receipt (except Saturday, Sunday & Holidays). You will be notified via email or telephone if there are any extended delays due to merchandise availability, seasonal volume, or any other unforeseen circumstances. 
  
International Orders 
We are pleased to offer shipping across the globe. Shipping rates reflect the actual shipping costs only. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or the shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order. 
  
We only accept wire transfers for international orders. Please go through the check out process and when the wire transfer is complete we will ship your order. There is a $35 non-refundable fee for all wire transfers. Some inventory is available only to our US clients due to government restrictions. Please understand that all orders for restricted products will be canceled. 
  
Insurance/Lost & Damaged Goods 
FOB, "Freight On Board", shall be the point of origin at the seller's dock, located at 149 King Street, Hanover, MA 02339, USA. Buyer assumes title and all risk of loss from the FOB point.  Although we do not require our customers to purchase insurance we highly recommend it and we require a signed waiver if you choose not to insure your purchase. 
  
All items we ship on our accounts are insured for full value. If an item is damaged or lost in transit, customers may file a claim with the carrier within the guidelines set by the individual carrier. The item must be in the original packaging to place a claim. Please take photos of the damage to help in the claims process. We are happy to help facilitate the resolution of a claim in any way possible. 
  
Canceling an Order 
Orders can be canceled if the order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us via telephone to cancel your order. Deposits are non-refundable.

It is the buyer's responsibility to determine the product's fitness for their application. By completing a purchase from BMI Surplus, Inc., the buyer hereby releases and holds harmless BMI Surplus, Inc., its employees, and officers from all claims arising out of the use, or misuse, of the equipment purchased.
