The stand is a pillar type with dual rod transverse arm. Focusing yoke uses Bausch & Lomb type pin mounting. In the photos the pin is inserted into the end of the transverse arm, but it may also directed downwards so it may be inserted into the upper bore. Surprisingly, Swift did not design the arm with enough clearance for the yoke to rotate when it is fixed in the vertical bore it must be place within the bore in one of three orientations (facing away from the arm, or at right angles to either side). The pillar is extra tall and will allow using the pod with very low power auxiliary lenses. (No auxiliary optics are supplied).
