This is a single axis card for use in a Kensington 4000-series Motion Controller. It may be configured to operate just about any of the standard Kensington actuators, including linear stages, rotary stages, and robotic devices..
The axis cards need to be matched to the particular motor / actuator device with which they will be connected. This is accomplished using a terminal attached to the 4000 controller. The only test equipment that is generally needed is a 10MHz oscilloscope capable of displaying Lissajous patterns. We can provide a copy of the Kensington 4000 installation manual, if needed. If you are adding a board to an existing controller, please make sure that the position in which you are installing it has the driver transistors installed in the rear heat-sink of the controller. There will also be a harness inside that connects to the white connector at the bottom center of the board. If your controller is missing these components, we may be able to supply them � please inquire
All the cards are in excellent condition, and have been stored in proper packaging for sensitive electronics.
