This Chroma filter is in excellent condition, having been removed from some prototype equipment. It has the following characteristics:
� Dimensions = 25mm x 18mm
� Thickness = 3mm
� No mounting cell
� Filter type – interference dichroic
The filter appears to be dual-excitation dichroic. The wavelength characteristics are rather complicated. There is a sharp bandpass region that extends from 450 to 465nm. Then again, starting at 478nm it behaves for the most part like a long-pass filter. In addition, there are two very strong blocking lines at 538nm and 633nm.
Transmission characteristics are measured with the filter mounted at 45 degrees to the optic axis. The reflection characteristics are complementary to the transmission characteristics. The part number of the filter is not known. There is a bit of mounting medium (appears to be silicone) still clinging to the edge of the filter. Filter surface is free of blemishes.
