This device permits using the bright-field vertical illuminator port on the Unitron TMD toolmaker’s microscope for both illumination and photography. It consists of a fixed beam-splitter housing along with a side-mounted collector lens for an external lamphouse (not included). On top of the beam-splitter housing is an adapter tube that accepts a photographic camera adapter (not included).

The overall height of the device (not including the mounting sleeve for the microscope) is 113mm. This distance can be altered through a small range with the helical thread of the upper sleeve and clamping collar. Diameter of the sleeve for the microscope port is 28.95mm. The inside diameter of the photo port 33mm. The flange for attachment of the lamphousing is 24mm in diameter.

The adapters are in very fine condition � optically perfect but with a few purely cosmetic blemishes in the finishes.
